A day after Breaking Bad won the Emmy for Best Drama series ahead of next week’s highly anticipated series finale, Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul and the rest of the cast celebrated their big victory with a hilarious appearance on Conan.
As the two two stars were being interviewed by Conan O’Brien about the AMC drama’s swan song, Cranston couldn’t resist reading aloud for the funnyman and viewers at home an erotic fan letter he received.
What intrigued the three-time Emmy winner, he said, was the letter writer’s introduction which said: “Dear Bryan Cranston, Let me preface this letter by saying I have a masters degree in psychology and have never been diagnosed with any psychotic disorder.”
Instantly hooked, Cranston continued reading how the fan spent two straight days and nights binge watching all of Breaking Bad‘s episodes and how she’s “in love with it all.”
“Right now I’m am fantasizing about having sex…with Aaron Paul,” read the 57-year-old actor, and for you to be there watching.”
That drew hearty guffaws from the TBS host and his audience and a look of bafflement from Cranston. But things took an even funnier turn when Conan’s sidekick, Andy Richter, assumed the letter writer was a guy.
After the commercial break, the hilarity continued when Conan suggested that despite his sweet and friendly nature, Cranston had a scary mug.
That prompted the tube star to offer up his best stone face to the camera.
“No emotion whatsoever. The thing that you read is fear,” he said.
At which point, Conan and the rest of the group followed suit.
After Conan ended, Cranston and the rest of the cast held a meth giveaway for the studio audience, showering them with tiny bags of fake blue crystals as a parting gift.
The final Breaking Bad episode airs next Sunday night.
